This has to be one of the best tasting stew like meals that doesn’t require a ton of herbs and spices or sauces, I was honestly concerned that it would be bland but nope! Not only was it mouth watering but a house hold of 7 all polished plates and asked for it to be a permanent meal dish, I cut the mushies very fine as no one here likes them but I think between them and the wine bacon that’s where the flavour came from so I won’t skip that ingredient. My kids are aged 2 /11/11/13/14 plus myself and my partner. Delicious 😋
This was easy and delicious. Minimal effort but maximum flavour, I doubled the sweet chilli sauce and halved the worchestershire sauce and used 3 carrots and it was great, we outnumber it on a bed of mash but I think I'd prefer it on a creamy bed of mash instead- I shredded the beef before plating. Ps I used an Asian sweet chilli sauce not master foods so it was more of a chilli hit with mild sweetness
My family love this and I do too for several reasons I can't always afford meat but snags....well I can afford that and having unique sausage meals is perfect for us, we add a small amount of gravy granules to ours twords the end and serve it on a bed of sour cream mash.....sooooo goooood
