I used whole chicken breast and chopped shortcut bacon instead of pork. Was a little worried with apple sauce and chicken but it was very nice. Almost like a creamy sauce without the cream. The german mustard tastes a bit like dijon mustard if you need to substitute. Not overly sweet. Would make again

I cooked this overnight for around 9 hours low with no problems. Doubled the chilli to suit our taste and no sugar. Added a tin of drained cannellini beans to make more filling. Cooked eggs in the morning using silicone egg containers so could keep leftovers. Also had on hotdog with cheese for lunch

Hi Irene. Golden syrup is thicker then honey with a malt taste to it. Stronger in flavour then maple syrup. Not as thick as molasses

Halved the recipe except put whole can of beans in. Instead of tin tomatoes I oven roasted fresh and then skinned. No zucchini. Used purple and orange carrots. Added fresh corn cut from cob. Used soup pasta. I ended up using 3 cups of chicken stock and no water so was really thick which I wanted. Easy recipe that can add any veg to suit needs and taste

I used rump because that is what I had. Using my 7L sc decreased cooking time to 3 1/2 hours low. Went down well with kids. For my personal taste I didn't add salt and would decrease the Worcestershire sauce next time. Overall we were very happy with this recipe

We had this tonight and loved it. I used the brie option and scraped off some of the rind because I find it a little much flavour wise. We love garlic so added a tablespoon of crushed garlic. I added the suggested almond slices as suggested in recipe in the last hour. I like my sauce thick so also put tea towel under lid for last hour. I also stirred through some chopped shallots just before serving. Served with Cabbage and Bacon recipe and found they complemented each other

I also browned shortcut bacon and added the lot at the beginning instead of adding half the bacon as stated in recipe. It was a perfect side to have with Chicken with Camembert sauce. My daughter made this for us for Mother's Day dinner. She wanted to me say that she has aspergers and found recipe very easy to follow. We substituted slice onion with 1 teaspoon of onion powder owing to texture issues with onions. The sauce was lovely and thick with great flavour. We served with chips. Will be making this again

Made this today and loved it. Because I was wanting to use it for enchiladas I only used 500 grams of diced chicken, replaced the refried-beans with cannellini beans because kids prefer them, added extra chili flakes, we like spice and a grated zucchini. Put it all in my 3L and cooked on high for 1 1/2 hours. Once cooked wrapped in mini tortillas with a little grated cheese. Placed in 7L sc and topped with salsa and a little cheese and cooked on high for 1 1/2 hours. Served with a dollop of sour cream
