I quite enjoyed this, but felt that there was something "missing" - might add some Soy Sauce next time I cook it. Pork was really tender too!
Very yummy! Have cooked this using Lamb Shanks, Lamb Roast, and Lamb Shoulder Chops, and every time the meat is so tender, and delicious!
This turned out too salty when I made it, but that could be due to the fact that I cooked it for 10 - 11 hours. I managed to save it by adding some water, sugar and a dash of vinegar, and it tastes pretty good.
I made this tonight as a treat for me and my daughter, and it was YUM!!! I used 3 Fry's Turkish Delight bars instead of the "red lollies", and also added some roasted peanuts for some crunch. Will definitely make again (on rare occasions as a treat, lol).
This was very delicious when I tried it for the first time last week. I did have to cook it for longer to get the meat tender though, but that's no biggie 🙂
