I made this today with 1.6kg leg of lamb. I only used 4tbsp of gravy powder. Once I took the lamb out I added 2 more tablespoons of gravy powder to the liquid and blitzed it. Turned the SC onto warm and left it while waiting 10mins for the lamb to settle before serving. Absolutely amazing. Thank you to whoever shared this recipe.
I made this a few days ago with the rump steak and we all loved it even the fussy 10yr old. Today I made it with bolar blade beef 1.5kg and I doubled the recipe again but I accidentally added 4 tablespoons of beef stock instead of 4tsp. Wooops BUT it was absolutely amazing. I did baste it every two hours and I turned it twice as it was looming abit dry but it wasn’t just me. The family loved this even more. Even the fussy kid❤️❤️❤️ I even got away with woolies frozen winter Vegetables as I forgot to prep my veggies. This is a winner again. I love this site!!!
I did this with 1.3kg of rump steak and it was amazing. I doubled the rest of the recipe so it didn’t go dry as it wasn’t fully coated with it and it was sooo tasty. I didn’t bother with the cornflour. Yum yum. Our fussy 10yr old even had some. ❤️❤️❤️
I always make this in the oven using a packet mix. Never again, the flavours are amazing and the sausages are sooo tasty done this way, with this recipe. I didn’t add the apple nor did I thicken the sauce at the end as it was just perfect. Can’t wait for leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
I have always made the packet mix version of this in the oven and always omitted the apple. We love it. Made this version and Slow Cooked is soooo much more. I still omitted the Apple but it’s just even more amazing. I am never making this in the oven again. Absolutely fantastic. I didn’t need to thicken at the end as it was just perfect. Can’t wait for leftovers tomorrow lunchtime. ❤️
This was amazing. My fussy 10yr old not only ate it but asked for more. ❤️❤️❤️ I did turn the chicken over for the last 45mins or so and was basting it ever hour which just makes your mouth water even more.
