Potato bake stuffed pumpkin Review Posted on January 28, 2019

I finally got to make this. It was really lovely. It didn't look like the above picture as I had a pumpkin that only fitted after I had cut some of the peel off...this of course caused it to collapse when we tried to get it out. Something to remember - the size of the pumpkin and the size of the slow cooker 🙂
I would also leave off the lid, because when you lift it, the topping comes off with said lid...

Creamy Mexican Chicken Review Posted on January 20, 2019

Been meaning to try this for some time. Was not disappointed.

I only used 4 Chicken Marylands which equaled the 1.K (ours must be giant chooks here in SA). I must also add that the taco packets I had were only 30gr...I just used the one packet but next time I will put in a jar of hot salsa as we like a bit more oomph....

Lamb kebabs Review Posted on January 2, 2019

I'm giving this 4 stars as I felt it needed something extra to give it a lift...not sure what tho. Might try some ras el hanout spice from herbies next time I think.
My husband liked this very much, the 12 1/2 y/o grand daughter took one look and had 4 pieces of lettuce, 2 slices tomato, grated cheese and carrot :(, so all in all very mixed responses.

Easy chicken & corn noodle soup Review Posted on January 1, 2019

This soup is so delicious...and so, so easy to make.

I followed the instructions apart from adding the top half of the chicken carcass, for that little bit of extra depth of flavour.

Will be making this regularly.....

Easy chicken & corn noodle soup Review Posted on December 29, 2018

This was so tasty and easy to make. It will be a regular i in this household.

The only thing I did differently was to add in the chicken carcass for a more depth of flavour....

Easy Creamy Chicken Curry Review Posted on November 22, 2018

My first curry in a slow cooker...and it will not be the last. What a great recipe. I read somewhere that there was too much sauce...not in this household....we love sopping it up with bread. Husband has been known to pour more over a slice of buttered bread 🙂

I used chicken drumsticks and some chicken wings that had to be used and will stick with them next time. I also used about 4T of Herbies whole seed curry mix....had just the right amount of sing. A keeper...

Honey Rosemary Pumpkin Review Posted on November 13, 2018

So simple, so easy but so delicious.

Grandchildren loved it....

Curried Sausages Review Posted on July 20, 2018

Lovely recipe.

I did make a couple of changes which wouldn't have made much difference to the flavour.
I had a tin of Campbell's Manu's Classic French Onion Soup, so I used that, and omitted the onions, but that was all.

This will be a keeper...

Fried Rice Review Posted on June 16, 2018

Lovely, easy fried rice. Will be a keeper....

It does make rather a lot for 2, so next time I will halve it and see how I go. We won't mind eating fried rice for the next few days 🙂

French Cream Chicken – 4 Ingredients! Review Posted on December 16, 2017

I used the almond and apricot cream cheese plus 20gr french onion soup powder. Worked well, I also cooked 2 bunches of asparagus in it as well. Served it with some boiled potato and carrots. Absolute winner.

I used 4 chicken thigh fillets cut into 4 - that along with the extra vegetables served my husband and I 2 dinners....
